Guided Hunts

Along with cabin rentals, Stoney Ridge offers guided hunts. Below are what can be found in the area, please contact us for pricing and further information.

White Tail Deer

Stoney Ridge Outfitters offers guided whitetail deer hunts in south-central Iowa. All hunts are fair chase on leased and private land located in zone 4 & 5. I scout the area and use trail cameras to help with stand placements. There is no guarantee that you will harvest a trophy deer but I will do whatever I can to ensure top quality racks.

Turkey

Stoney Ridge Outfitters offers spring turkey hunts in Zone 4. The number and quality of Eastern wild turkeys in southern Iowa is amazing! The average beard length will range from 8" to 13" and weight will average 20-25 plus pounds. The spring season runs from April through May (seasons 1, 3, & 4).
